NYGH Open House 2016 is coming soon. As usual, we'll have a change of exhibits in our NY Art Gallery. Stay tuned and we hope to see you!
Campus Touring Exhibition by Taiwan Schools, is now on at the Ang Mo Kio Public Library. They were exhibited during the Festival of Arts in the Nanyang Art Gallery from July this year and now it's been moved to this public venue in central Singapore. What is unique about your school and the city you live in?
In collaboration with 5 other schools in Taiwan, students responded to the question posed with the aim to showcase their national identity and school culture to friends on the other parts of the globe. These artworks are circulated to other schools in the other areas of the country and the paintings down by Taiwanese students have been flown into Nanyang Girls’ High School while our student’s paintings are touring in different parts of Taiwan. The paintings are not bounded by geographical constraints, just like the strong friendships forged between schools internationally. Today's the last day of the Vanishing Traits exhibition, a collaborative relief artwork by Taiwan Fuxing Senior High School and Nanyang Girls' High School AEP students, created earlier this year. We also did a changeover of artworks today, with the help from Yuxiang, Renrong (NLB) and Mr Mansur (kind van driver). Thank you! Stay tuned for the next post for the artworks on display.
