Little Booklets will be featured on Gen NY Issue 2! (expect a scan of the magazine, coming soon)
We've just submitted a montage of all the covers of Little Booklets we've received so far for Issue 3.
It's one week to the submission of Little Booklets!
We chanced upon some teachers working on their Little Booklets today! Here are some snippets :)
Here's a work in progress image of what our NYGH Alumni, Ly Yeow ( Love, Ly. ), is up to for Little Booklets!
The video was shared on her artist profile page on facebook and here's what she wrote along with her post.
"Working on the little booklet for the exhibition at Nanyang Girls High. The place that shaped me into who I am today, I can never thank enough of the art teachers who believed in me even when I was ridiculous.
Sometimes an interest or passion is sparked not because of what they teach. It's because of how they live and lead. Isn't it?
Drawing silly stories of my imaginary pug named Bobby."
We're pleased to announce that have extended the registration for the Little Booklets open call!
Those who have registered, please kindly note that you'll have to return them by 30 June, 2.30pm for us to curate the show!
Have you got started on your Little Booklets?
We've chanced upon some others who have also made their very own tiny books.
Here's one, The Mini Book of Major Events by Evan Lorenzen
If you are a NYGH staff / alumni / ex colleague and haven't signed up to get your own Little Booklet, please do so soon as we've got more up for grabs! Spread the word before we close the open call on 28 May. The submission of all completed Little Booklets will be on 30th June!
We can't wait to receive your ideas in these Little Booklets!
(To date, we've already received two completed submissions!)
