My booklets are inspired by a line in a poem by a prominent chinese poet in the Tang Dynasty, Du Fu. It is a wonderfully succinct line that quietly celebrates one of the many natures of change; the idea that there is subtlety in influence, giving rise to a growth that is not instantaneously noticeable; redolent of a out of rain that comes in the night, softly giving life to vast pastures. My booklets are a record of moments. Of a concatenation that describes formal nuances. Of little collisions in spaces of time, collisions which , depending on the attachment of self to the corporeal world, either negate or define our presence.
